INTRODUCTION TO EPIC X BY JACOB & CO. The redesigned Epic X is a sleeker, more streamlined take on the brand’s groundbreaking timepiece. Details abound as Jacob & Co. subtly changed shapes, surfaces, lines, and brought the Epic X completely up to date. It is also one of the very few Jacob & Co. timepieces made of steel.
The first collection of Time’s new Epic A full rose gold version has also been released. They showed off a new set of crown guards, a new lug design, and introduced green, blue, or black aluminum parts, which will open up endless possibilities.
Launching in spring 2022, the second-generation Epic X has a big shoes to fill. Launched back in 2015, the original Epic X series established Jacob & Co. into the mature watchmaking brand it is today. The iconic and famous five-time zone watch has left its mark throughout the ages and has been worn by countless celebrities. A few years later, Jacob & Co. moved to a more horologically oriented watch.
A masterpiece in the world of watchmaking, the Epic It later became the blueprint for the Epic X Chrono and Epix X Tourbillon.
Case diameter 44mm, thickness 13.05mm. The bracelet features a new design, derived from the unique angles and curves of the case. Each of the 5-link rows is a polished and chamfered three-dimensional sculpture with a semi-octagonal profile and curved base. This coupled with careful study of the joints creates a perfect fit for the wrist. Additionally, the Epic X still comes with its signature honeycomb rubber strap.
